This individual will sit on a hybrid model within our client's Redwood City, CA office. Crucial leadership role in overseeing the production and quality of pharmaceutical products. Biologics & Rare Disease experience is highly desirable.
Here’s an overview of what this role typically involves:
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with the company's goals.
- Oversee the design and execution of manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement and innovation in manufacturing practices.
Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and resource management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., Good Manufacturing Practices, FDA regulations).
- Manage and optimize production capacity and equipment utilization.
Quality Control and Assurance:
- Ensure that manufacturing processes meet quality standards and product specifications.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.
