Alicia Kaye Stowe, 36, is currently on trial in Washington state after prosecutors say she had sex with the then 16-year-old.
She had been working at the now-shuttered Daybreak Youth Services facility when she met the teenager, who is now 20. She was 32 at the time of the alleged molestation.
Her victim claims he was abused by Stowe during one of his 90-day stays inside the rehab facility, which he had been inside for drug use.
During the trial, prosecutors have revealed love letters written by the victim that he gave Stowe, and text exchanges between the two, according to KOIN.
In a text message exchange shown to the court, the then-teenager said to her: 'I love you Kaye', before calling her 'baby'.
She responds: 'Yes', to which he then asks 'say it back, [c'mon] I know you wanna', to which she says 'I love you'. The teenager responded 'yay'.
Stowe was charged in January of 2023, with court documents alleging that she had a sexual relationship with the man between May 2020 and March 2022.

In an affidavit seen by the outlet, police started investigating her after her wife reported her interactions with the teenager.
Police interviewed the teen, who told officers he and Stowe had sex three times while he was a patient and that it continued after he was discharged.
Taking the stand on Tuesday, the now 20-year-old said the pair would take walks around the facility and he started sending her notes, according to KGW.
One of those was shown to the court, in which he wrote: 'Every day your gone I think about you and I think how I can make this work after I get out.
'I want to continue seeing you and you're the only person that got so close that made me start thinking about marriage and I know that it will have to wait till I'm 18.'
The letter continued: 'I really care about you, every time I'm with you I get butterflies and that's never happened to me.'
He also told the court that Stowe performed oral sex on him inside a bathroom, and that she drove two hours to meet him at a motel for sex.
Stowe's defense lawyers argued in court that his statements are unreliable due to him having been inside the facility for abusing crystal meth.

Attorney Jon McMullen said: 'He doesn’t always know when he’s telling the truth and when he’s not telling the truth, because he’s lied on a number of occasions to law enforcement about this case.'
The man admitted that he was not forthcoming with officers when originally questioned in 2022, saying he wanted to protect Stowe.
Prosecutor Melinda McMahon said in her opening statement that during the teenager's first stay their relationship was professional.
In his second stay however, McMahon said that: '[Stowe] violated her position of authority to have sexual intercourse with [the accuser].'
Stowe has maintained her innocence throughout the case, with the trial expected to last the rest of the week.
She was fired from Daybreak in 2022 on unrelated reasons according to the Washington State Department of Health. Her counseling license was suspended in February of last year.
